The world celebrated the end of World War II, a hidden story was unfolding one that would remain buried for decades. It was the year of victory and rebuilding, but behind closed doors, a secret mission was being planned that could change the future of humanity forever.

This mission, called Project Cygniverse, began with a shocking discovery in the deserts of New Mexico. Scientists found strange technology that didn’t belong to Earth machines far more advanced than anything humans had ever built. Working in complete secrecy, they used this alien technology to create a spacecraft like no other: The Astra Novum.

Six astronauts were chosen for this incredible mission, each selected for their unique expertise:

Commander Maya Carter (American): A calm and decisive leader, tasked with maintaining order and morale among the crew.

Engineer Arjun Mehta (Indian): A brilliant problem-solver, responsible for the life-support systems and ensuring the spacecraft’s habitat stayed operational.

Biochemist Zoe Kim (Korean): An expert in synthesizing breathable air and water from alien compounds, essential for the crew’s survival on distant planets.

Physicist Leo Tan (Chinese): Focused on understanding the planet’s extreme atmospheric phenomena, and ensuring safe exploration of the unknown.

Medic Sam Brooks (British): Dedicated to preserving the health and safety of the crew, he was prepared for any medical emergencies that might arise.

Geochemist Karan Das (Indian): A specialist in analyzing the planet’s minerals and potential resources, vital for assessing the planet’s viability for human colonization.

They were all selected as humanity’s first astronauts, and their destination was Aquila Major, a newly discovered planet orbiting Deneb at Cygni constellation, a massive star. Scientists believed that this planet could be suitable for human habitation a potential new refuge for a war-torn Earth.

But the journey was full of risks. The Astra Novum used an experimental engine and life-support systems that hadn’t been properly tested. The spacecraft was also equipped with artificial intelligence, which was still a new and uncertain technology. The crew’s mission was to explore Aquila Major, find out if it could support life, and return to Earth with their findings.
